“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?” – Martin Luther King, Jr.
Volunteerism is important to me. My first volunteer position was at age eleven, helping clean and feed animals at Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary’s Nature House in Victoria, BC. Through my teenage years and into my 20s, most of my volunteer positions revolved around health and now I bring health and photography together as a volunteer photographer for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep and the Tiny Light Foundation.
NILMDTS provides remembrance photography to parents suffering the loss of a baby with a free gift of professional portraiture. These images serve as an important step in the family’s healing process by honouring the child’s legacy.
