Oh, hi! I’m Paulina.
As an emergency nurse, I’ve seen it all—trust me. I’m calm under pressure and chill AF. I take care of people. It’s my job. And this aspect of my work spills over into photography. I’ve been told that I can see people. I can read bodies, listen to hearts, and hear what you’re saying in between the words. And I always want to learn more about you. I want to know what brings you joy, what terrifies you. I want to know the real you. My well-developed intuition picks up on discomfort and emotions to ease, adapt and bring everyone back to the reason for the day: celebrating your love and the life you’ve built together!
When I’m not bringing love to life with my camera or nursing on a remote island in northern BC, you’ll find me moving: skiing, backpacking, hiking, cycling, and occasionally trying to sit still long enough to make things — pottery, lip balm, sewing reusable cutlery pouches, or harvesting wild foods.
I like to be surrounded by people who give a shit — about the environment, Indigenous rights, social justice and standing up for things that matter.
Soo… if you’re easy going, inspired by nature and want to make the world a better place, I think we’ll get along just fine. Drop me a line!
Here are some of my favourite people/places/adventures! (click on the photo):

This is Jeff. I’m married to him. He makes me laugh like no one else and inspires me to be a better person all the time. You might get to meet him as he sometimes he joins me as my assistant.

One of our favourite backpacking trips – Bishop Pass, California.

We rented a van in Iceland and explored for a week this past spring. It was an amazing experience and we can’t wait to go back!

Being in the Arctic during the spring was incredible. I witnessed the ice melting, birds returning and flowers growing on the tundra. It’s a place like no other.

This is Conan. He was my best buddy up in Gitxaała. Before he was adopted, he would join us for runs and hikes and helped keep the wolves away.

This is Gitxaała. It’s a small First Nations village on the north coast of BC. It’s beautiful. The people are beautiful. I’ve learned so much from them. This is where I get to work as a nurse.
